Contraception Direct is an NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service run by Orford Pharmacy (Faith Pharmacy Ltd) in Warrington, Cheshire. Founded by Benjamin Mason and Usama Ali, our mission is to make accessing your contraceptive pill as easy as ordering anything else online.
We operate under Patient Group Directions following UKMEC guidelines, the same clinical standards your GP uses. Our pharmacy is registered with the GPhC (Registration: 9011296).
What We Offer
We specialise in the contraceptive pill only. We don't provide patches, devices, implants, or the morning after pill.
Maya Morawska, MPharm. Clinical Lead Pharmacist (GPhC: 2233096). Maya is a GPhC registered pharmacist and the Clinical Lead at Contraception Direct. She previously worked within a GP practice and brings that experience into her role. She ensures every consultation follows the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service Patient Group Direction. Speaks English and Polish.
Katie McHugh, MPharm. Contraception Pharmacist (GPhC: 2238162). Katie is a GPhC registered pharmacist with specialist training in contraceptive pill care. She's friendly and easy to talk to, focusing on what works best for each person.
Humaira Malik, MPharm. Contraception Pharmacist (GPhC: 2235137). Humaira is a GPhC registered pharmacist with specialist training in contraception care. She has particular expertise in counselling on minimising side effects and helping people find the pill that suits them best. Speaks English, Urdu, Hindi.
Benjamin Mason. Co-founder and Director of Business Development. Benjamin co-founded Contraception Direct with Usama to make contraception more accessible and straightforward. He oversees the wider direction and daily running of the service.
Usama Ali, MPharm. Co-founder and Director of Digital Health (GPhC: 2224726). Usama co-founded Contraception Direct with Benjamin. With a background in pharmacy and digital health, he focuses on using innovative technology to build efficient and secure systems that make care quicker and easier to access.
Jay Rowe. Director of Operations. Jay oversees the daily operations of Contraception Direct, ensuring the process from pharmacist approval to delivery is accurate, discreet and on time.
